Because of the USA PATRIOT Act it is illegal to buy a handgun outside of your state of residency and transport it into your home state. While we would like to be your only source for buying guns, we know realistically there will be times when you find a deal on a used gun online that we may not currently have in stock, and laws require that all guns purchased online, whether long-gun or pistol, be received by a licensed dealer.

We are happy to help you maneuver around these roadblocks by providing FFL transfer services in Florence, AL. This allows a licensed firearms dealer to ship a gun to another licensed firearms dealer in another state where you can conveniently pick it up. We know prices and regulations are already too high when buying guns, so while most other dealers charge $25 and up to provide this service, we charge a low $20 fee to send or receive. Additionally, we will waive this nominal fee if you have purchased the gun from us, and all you will have to pay is the shipping cost, no added fees.

  • Federal law now requires that all guns purchased outside your state of residence be transferred across state lines only by way of licensed gun dealers. This means that if you are from out of state and buy a gun from us, we will have to ship it to a licensed gun dealer in your state and you can pick it up there. Conversely, if you are from Alabama and you buy a gun from out of state (either in person or online), that gun cannot legally be brought into Alabama by you or shipped directly to your house. It must be shipped to a licensed gun dealer where you can pick it up. That is where we come in. We are happy to be the go between entity for either shipping out or receiving in your firearms.

  • We offer this service free of charge (not including the cost of shipping) if the firearm was purchased from us. However, due to the amount of paperwork we are required to fill out, file and report, the storage space allocated while the gun is in our possession, and other various costs associated with this service, we do charge a nominal fee of $15 for receiving firearms purchased elsewhere and the same price, plus the cost of shipping, to ship a gun not purchased from us.
